The group stage of the online qualifier for i54 has reached a conclusion, with the top four teams advancing to the playoffs.

The organisers of the Insomnia Gaming Festival are currently hosting an online qualifier for i54's main CS:GO championship, called G2A.com Counter-Strike Challenge, which will feature a a £10,000 ($15,300) prize purse.

Group A saw x6tence and Publiclir.se finish in the top two places, and before the first round of Group B matches started, Insomnia Gaming Festival decided to double the number of teams involved following strong interest from several European sides in the qualifier.

k1ck came out on top of Group B

The additions of Orbit, Playing Ducks and Planetkey Dynamics upped the level of the group, but it ended up being k1ck who topped the standings' table following three straight victories against fm-eSports, P. Ducks and myXMG.

The second place in the group went to Pascal "nky" Maass's side, who beat Playing Ducks 16-13 in the all-German consolidation final of the tournament.
